Vertical Blinds are an ideal solution for the Office environment, as well as being modern in design they are very practical and less likely to collect dust.
If you have computer systems then the angle of light is very important to the viewing aspect of the monitor. With the correct positioning of the slats, most of these problems can be eliminated.  Vertical Blinds meet most requirements of the office and commercial environment. They are practical, versatile and have visual appeal.

They offer the specifier an aesthetically pleasing solution to the problem of solar glare and heat gain. Vertical blinds provide total control of light through windows, with the vanes rotating to any angle as well as drawing to the sides by use of simple manual controls. Vertical blinds can enhance, or create a complete new image for your work space- both inside and out.

Principal applications are in offices, public buildings such as banks, airports, hospitals, sports and entertainment centres, retail stores and other establishments where it is necessary to control solar glare and heat gain. Vertical blinds are also useful as room dividers or screens, protecting certain areas from full view. They are used on internal glazed partitioning where they add a highly sophisticated element to the interior, as well as their functional properties.

Vertical Blinds

Vanes are 127 mm or 89 mm wide (many fabrics are also available as roller blinds, for total co-ordination). The vanes are suspended from the track and overlap by not less than 11 mm when the blinds are closed, providing complete privacy. They can be traversed with a left, right, split or centre bunch with controls at either left or right of blind, as required. The vanes are specially weighted at their base and are securely interconnected by a twin chain system.
The growing popularity of vertical blinds has led to a significant development in the range of high performance fabrics available. Woven from acrylic and polyester yarns, the fabrics conform to BS5867, Part 1:1980 for light fastness 5-6 when tested in accordance with BS1006 1978. In addition, fibreglass, PVC materials,S.P.C. (Solar Protective Coating) and flame retardant fabrics are also available in a variety of textures and colours.
